Sensors

Festo sensors are eminently suited for sensing the end position of a cylinder (magnetic cylinder switch), to inductively acquire an end position (inductive proximity switch), to determine an absolute cylinder position (path measurement sensors), to determine pressures or flows or to cause switching based on these quantities (for example, pressure switches), to measure forces, to optically acquire a position (light barriers, photoswitches) or to sense the position of a rotary drive for ball valves inductively or with a microswitch (sensor boxes). The assembly of cylinder switches is easy. They are usually pushed into a standard groove in the cylinder profile.
