Pneumatic actuators

Festo pneumatic actuators are normally cylinders that are intended for linear movements. These can be supplied as standard cylinder with piston rod (ISO 6432, ISO 15552, ISO 21287 or industrial standard as e.g. UNITOP) or with/without piston rod according to manufacturer specific standards. To accept transverse forces we recommend pneumatic cylinders with guides or stopper cylinders. For rotational movements Festo offers special rotary actuators and round indexing tables along with the double-acting or single-acting position actuators for fittings. Most cylinders can simply be installed in an existing machine with suitable fastening material/attachment parts.
