Electric drives

We supply electromechanical actuators for linear movements as electric cylinders, spindle axes, toothed belt axles or slides or as rotary modules/rotary drives for rotary movements. In all the actuators, the movement is executed through electrical energy instead of the pneumatic energy source for which Festo is known. In some applications, electrical actuators have significant advantages over pneumatic elements (for example easy positioning, constant movement speeds, soft starting and stopping and high repeat accuracy. In contrast, pneumatic systems distinguish themselves through their low price, simple construction, easy control and above all, tolerance to blocking.
