Materials:
Type zinc-plated steel: Body: Hardened and zinc-plated steel / aluminium / nickel-plated brass, seal: NBR, type stainless steel: Body: 1.4404, spring: 1.4319, balls: 1.4028, seal: FKM, Type plastic: Body: composite material (conductive) / nickel-plated brass, seal: NBR
Temperature range:
-20°C to max. +70°C (plastic type: -15°C to max. +70°C)
Operating pressure:
0 do 12 bar
Flow*:
1500 l/min
Function:
The coupling occurs as for standard couplings by inserting the push-in nipple into the coupling socket. Uncoupling is effected by pressing the uncoupling button. Then the coupling socket closes and ventilates the coupling plug when still held in the coupling socket. This reliably prevents the dangerous recoil effect. Zinc-plated steel type and 1.4404: Plug is released by pressing a second time, plastic type: plug is only released after the residual pressure on the plug side has dropped below approx. 0,5 bar.
Advantages:
•Coupling head can be positioned - after screwing in, the pushbutton can be rotated to an ergonomically optimum position,
•Safety function is controlled via the residual pressure on the plug side (only type plastic),
•antistatic, meets the ATEX 2 standard (not a potential source of ignition) and can therefore be used in paint booths, environments with a lot of gas or grain silo operations (only type plastic),
•plastic body prevents scratching of surfaces (only type plastic),
•manufactured silicone-free (only type plastic)
Recommendation:
Use coupling plugs made of hardened steel!
