Version:
The proportional pressure regulator controls the pressure on the secondary side proportionally to an electrical input signal (0 - 10 V or 4 - 20 mA). This operates as a 3/2-directional poppet valve with proportional solenoid and can thus ensure high flow rates venting and exhausting. Fine filtering of the compressed air is not necessary. The digital control allows quick and easy setting of the control parameters. The proportional valve can be adjusted and optimised with a PC, a RS232 adapter, and the software. This setting can be saved and used for other valves. The valve has no internal air consumption. If there is no input signal or no supply voltage, the valve exhausts.
Tip:
For larger flow rates, elevated temperatures, aggressive environments and the like, the proportional pressure regulator can also be used as a pilot regulator for a remote pressure regulator (booster) type DRi (for standard applications) or FDRi 03 (for precision control and large venting capacities).
Media:
lubricated and unlubricated compressed air, neutral gases (50 µm)
Temperature range:
0 do +60 °C
Power supply:
21,6 do 26,4 V (DC)
Power input:
Type G 1/8": max. 500 mA, G 1/4": max. 1000 mA, G 1/2": max. 1400 mA
Protection class:
IP 65
Electrical connection:
M 12 plug (A-coded, 5-pole), angular junction box included in the scope of delivery
Linearity:
± 0,5 % of the end value
Repeatability:
± 0.5 % of the end value
Hysteresis:
1 % of the end value
Accuracy:
± 0,5 % of the end value
Note:
The valves get heated to an unacceptable degree if there is a signal present but the required supply pressure is missing! It is hence recommended to use a pressure switch to monitor the pressure. The input pressure should measure at least 10% higher than the maximum outlet pressure required.
Optional:
Output signal (monitor) 0 to 10 V -A10
Advantages:
•Robust, low compressed air quality requirements,
•High flow rates,
•High venting capacity,
•Many setting options via separate software
*measured at input pressure of 7 bar and 5 bar outlet pressure
